Aged in 25% new French oak and 5% American oak barrels, the 2021 Los Carneros Pinot Noir from Meadowcroft sports a light to medium ruby core with a neon pink rim. A nose of strawberry-rhubarb pie, sweet baking spice, Blood orange zest, and cedary herbs spill from the glass while the palate brings additional components of lemon zest, boysenberry liquor, and toasted vanilla. Tannins are in check and sweet, while the acidity remains high and balanced. 292 cases were produced.
