Tasting Notes
While there's plenty of silken texture here, verging on opulence, this retains a sense of elegance and effortlessness. Expect flavors reminiscent of damson skin, violets, orange peel, cinnamon and clove, giving a rather festive impression. The finish is satisfying, with juicy acidity cleansing the palate. Super-fine tannins provide a very fine veil for the palate. Only seven barrels of this wine were made.
