Tasting Notes
Mostly Dijon clones 667 and 777, with a bit of UCD5, the 2018 Testify Pinot Noir aged in 25% new French oak. The result is pleasantly floral and spicy, with hints of rose petals, tea leaves, Bing cherries, cinnamon and clove. It's medium-bodied and shows a bit of wood tannin on the palate, but it remains fairly graceful despite that—and those tannins should resolve within a year or two, leaving silkier grape tannins and a long, mouthwatering finish to remain.
