Tasting Notes
The 2019 Morgon Les Charmes has a deep, concentrated nose of black plum, and forest floor, touches of oyster shell and sea spray emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit, fine acidity, gentle grip and a slightly chalky-textured finish. It does not quite possess the brightness of the nascent 2020, but it is quintessential Morgon through and through.
