A blend of 60% Carignan and 40% Syrah, the 2022 Fitou La Tire reveals a deeper ruby/purple hue as well as ripe aromatics of black cherries, mulberries, licorice, leather, and peppery herbs. This medium to full-bodied, nicely textured, mouth-filling red has ripe tannins and a great finish. A classy, balanced fruit bomb, it’s going to drink nicely right out of the gate.
