Vivid purple. Powerful, expansive aromas of ripe dark fruits, candied violet, incense, vanilla and smoky minerals. Coats the palate with sweet blackberry and cherry liqueur and floral pastille flavors that slowly tighten up and become more spicy with aeration. The strikingly long, youthfully tannic finish leaves behind sappy blue fruit, mocha and spice-cake qualities.
