Tasting Notes

A blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Carignan, and the rest Syrah all from black, schist soils in the Roussillon, the 2017 Côtes Du Roussillon is another beautiful wine from importer Dan Kravitz that represents a terrific value. Black raspberries, crushed flowers, spice, and hints of pepper all emerge from this medium-bodied, sweetly fruited, elegant red that's just a joy to drink. It should keep nicely for 5-6 years.
