Tasting Notes
One of the staples for long-term in the Behrens Family Winery, is their 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Cemetery, which I believe comes from a small vineyard next to the cemetery in St. Helena. This is all Cabernet Sauvignon. The beautiful sweet cassis fruit, blackberry and spice box are impressive in this full-bodied, young, youthful, impressively endowed, multi-dimensional Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s still young, but accessible, because of the sweet tannin and opulence of the fruit. This should drink well for at least another 20-25 years.
