Incorporating 5% Merlot, the deep purple-hued 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon XXV gives up a terrific perfume of cassis, leafy tobacco, spring flowers, and lead pencil. This medium-bodied, elegant, nicely textured 2019 has some creamy oak, firm, building tannins, and outstanding length. Give it a year or two and enjoy over the following decade. This comes from the Kenny Hill, Lewis, Wallula, and Sagemoor vineyards and spent 20 months in 32% new French oak and 18% in new American oak.
