Tasting Notes
With a glimmering dark purple core with a light brick-orange rim in the glass, the 2020 Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon features aromas of blue plums, boysenberry pie, sweet baked vanilla, toasted cinnamon stick, and new leather. The palate gifts additional notes of cassis, licorice root, and forest herbs. Grippy tannins need a year or so to soften, but the lovely acidity helps finish things off nicely.
