Pale medium orange. Delicate, pristine aromas of watermelon and orange. Juicy, dry and restrained, showing surprising acid support to its flavors of apricot, powdered sugar and minerals, plus hints of red berries. This suave, restrained, rather serious pink wine finishes with a dusty austerity and noteworthy persistence. Very dry and classic--and easy to drink. Pursued by Bear is the project of actor and long-time wine lover Kyle MacLachlan, with the wines made by Dan Wampfler, winemaker at Abeja. (12.9% alcohol)
