Tasting Notes
I hadn't tasted the white for a while, the current vintage of which is the 2023 Blanc d'Orto, pure Garnacha Blanca from limestone soils with one day of maceration and fermentation in stainless steel, where it matured with lees for six months. It's not a shy or light white, as it comes in at 14.06% alcohol with a pH of 3.41 and 4.7 grams of acidity. It's fruit-driven, pure, varietal, clean and fresh and has character. 1,100 bottles were filled in the spring of 2024.
