The 2021 Barolo Le Coste di Monforte marries finesse with power to a degree I have not seen here in the past. Kirsch, blood orange, white pepper, chalk, rose petal and dried flowers convey brightness to play off the wine's structured, layered personality. All the elements are so well balanced. High class.
