The 2018 Barolo Albarella conveys energy and tension. Medium in body and racy, the Albarella is showing very well today. Dark cherry, plum, spice, leather and dried rose petal build nicely in the glass. Floral accents lend brightness throughout. This is a terrific vintage for the Albarella.
