Tasting Notes

Pinot Noir fans should do everything possible to find this incredible value. It all starts with ripe red-cherry and tart blackberry aromas playing off one another in fine sweet-tart fashion. Additional aromas of black tea and loamy soil linger in the background. Then comes a delightful blackcap-raspberry-jam flavor that is balanced by lemony acidity and fine-grained tannins. There is also this baked good flavor that, appropriately enough given the raspberry jam, comes across like a warm sourdough biscuit. The wine's texture is extraordinarily silky, like sliding into a bed made with 600 thread-count sheets. Editor's Choice
