Tasting Notes
The 2024 Morgon La Roche (previously Corcelette) comes from vines planted in 1929, and this was bottled at the end of June. It offers slightly blacker fruit than other cuvées, with touches of graphite and damp undergrowth. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine-grain tannins, lightly spiced, with impressive weight and density on the finish. Animated and quite delicious.
