A creamy, well-balanced red, with a bright spine of acidity animating flavors of cherry sauce, iron, fresh earth, thyme, red licorice and cocoa powder. Fine-grained tannins emerge, bringing taut definition to the plushly textured finish. Carignan, Grenache and Syrah. Drink now through 2035. 1,800 cases made, 300 cases imported.
