Tasting Notes
Ultra-classic stuff from the galets roulés of le Bois de la Ville, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Prestige is based on 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre, partially destemmed, and aged 12 months in 10% new French oak with the balance in concrete. Black cherries, leather, graphite, and peppery garrigue define the aromatics, and it's perfumed, expressive, and complex. Medium to full-bodied, ripe, round, and wonderfully textured, with outstanding length on the finish, this gem in the vintage will deliver the goods for 10-12 years. Roughly 500 cases produced.
