Tasting Notes
The white 2024 Blanco was produced with Palomino grapes from barajuela soils. It fermented in stainless steel and was bottled unoaked. It has good ripeness and 12.5% alcohol and four grams of acidity. It has not yet developed much aromatic complexity, and in my experience, these wines benefit from at least one year in bottle. This is agile and balanced, with a fluid palate. It was a year with a lot more rain, a mild summer and a late and quiet harvest. We tasted it next to the 2023, which had accumulated drought, and you notice the bitterness and concentration of the year.
