Aromas of raspberry and black currants sprinkled with dried mint, coca powder and underscored by black olives and graphite float from the glass of this Cab, from one of the region’s long-standing producers. There’s a lightness here that’s welcome amidst the sturdy tannins, which take over the mouth. The fruit squeaks through the cracks but falls off quickly. Best Buy.
