Robust aromas of blackberry compote, plums, baking spices and mocha. The palate is full-bodied with fine tannins and balanced acidity, giving notes of sultanas and dried herbs. A field blend of zinfandel, petite sirah and carignan planted in 1896. Very ripe and showing signs of the warm vintage. Drink now. Screw cap.
