The 2020 Brut Nature Reserva Castellroig is a Corpinnat blend of 40% Xarel·lo, 35% Macabeu, 20% Parellada and 5% Chardonnay, sourced from Penedès. Aged for 20 months on the lees and disgorged in November 2023, it displays a yellow hue with aromas of lemon pie, herbs, aniseed and a deep quince core. Dry and chalky on the palate, the intense acidity enhances the primary flavors and energizes the mousse-like mouthfeel. Joyful.
