Tasting Notes
The 2020 Ventoux Divergente also has more than a hint of Northern Rhône-like vibe in its black raspberry, flowers, smoked game, burning ember, and liquid violet aromas and flavors. Possessing incredible purity of fruit as well as medium to full-bodied richness, it has regal, polished tannins, flawless balance, and a great finish. This needs plenty of air to show at its best, so I suspect it will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and show fabulously well over the following decade. Hats off to Sebastien Vincenti for another brilliant wine.
