The 2021 Bianco Acqua della Serpa is a blend of 20% Martone, 20% Malvasia, 20% Grechetto, 20% Pecorino and 20% Trebbiano Spoletino refined all in terracotta amphora. It is spicy and wickedly fresh, with a captivating bouquet of ginger-spiked apples, fresh mint and hints of curry leaf. This is round and surprisingly weighty on the palate, yet balanced, with salty mineral tones underscoring ripe orchard fruits and green melon. The medium-length finish has a tart green citrus tinge, leaving crisp Grechetto tannins to resonate.
