Tasting Notes
The 2020 Valderiz is mostly Tempranillo with a 5% dash of Albillo from Roa, Ribera del Duero and was aged 20 months in 80% French and 20% American barrels. Garnet-red in the glass. The ripe, balsamic nose showcases thyme, plum and oak aromas. Dry and clingy, the reactive tannins make for a structured flow.
