The juicy and fruit-driven 2018 Calicanto, a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Carmenère, 7% Syrah, 3% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc, has the light of the higher-altitude vineyards from Los Andes, a kind of brightness that combines some herbal and wild berry aromas and a spicy touch. This is higher in Carmenère, and it's spicier and peppery, with a medium-bodied palate with fine and round tannins, a gentle texture and good balance. 132,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2019.
