Spring is in the air, Earth Day is coming up this month, and you can see the flowers definitely want to bloom soon! I love spring because the weather is a bit warmer but not too hot yet and it’s such a lovely blossoming time of year. Spring is a time of change, and I love changing up my wines a bit too. In spring my wine choices become a bit more chilled, lighter in body, and I find myself pairing these with lighter dishes as well.
I have compiled a list of 16 spring wines you will want to have this season. Sure, you can drink all these wines year round, but why not use Spring as an excuse to try them all!

Sparkling & Rosé- Nothing says Spring like some sparkling wines or a deliciously crisp rosé. These wines pair beautifully with lamb, ham, and all the sides you may be enjoying if you celebrate Easter Sunday!
Ca Furlan Prosecco DOC Rosé- Made from Glera and Pinot Noir, this rosé is just lovely. Bright and refreshing with berry notes, some floral aromas, and nice acidity on the palate. It has a nice balanced finish and a creaminess that makes it great for brunch and lunch. Sip this with Buratta Salads, Roasted Pears and Brie, pop it and pair some popcorn, or enjoy it on it’s own; it’s really a great wine! $13.99
Now that you’re thinking about spring, it’s time to add some new wines to your inventory. Many of these wines you can buy online as well as in retail stores too. Always remember, eat what you like and drink what you love. Please pair responsibly!
