Tasting Notes
An undeniably Maipo Alto wine, from the notes of black fruits, herbs and menthol to the smooth and elegant texture. A blend with a great sense of place that this year has 49% cabernet sauvignon, 35% carménère, and the rest syrah, cabernet franc and malbec. Stored for a year in used barrels, this red focuses on fruit flavors, but without neglecting a strong affiliation to its origin. The winemaker observes that this attribute is due to somewhat earlier harvests, which here have made the place take the lead.
