Tasting Notes
A blend of 80% Malbec and 20% Merlot, this is a muscular, tightly structured wine that’s playing the long game. Right now, much swirling in the glass ekes out aromas of cherry and red currant fruit with woodsy spices, cinnamon, mint, cedar and graphite. Tannins are currently massive, and the fruit gets a little lost, but there’s still finesse here and a harmony that suggests the best of this wine won’t come for quite a while yet. Drink 2025–2035.
