The 2017 Phinca Encanto Rufete shows a darker profile of aromas and earthier sensations than the 2018 I tasted next to it, but the varietal character emerged with time in the glass. It's slightly more rustic and has grainy tannins that call for food. 2,200 bottles were filled in the spring of 2020.
