Tasting Notes
Vivid, greenish straw. Powerful pear, nectarine and orange pith aromas display excellent clarity and a suave floral topnote. Intense orchard and pit fruit and honeysuckle flavors show a silky texture and tighten up steadily on the back half. Well-concentrated but energetic as well, delivering strong, floral-tinged persistence, repeating florality and solid final grip. From a vineyard that was reportedly planted in 1885; all large neutral French oak barrels.
