Deep, lurid ruby. Powerful, mineral-accented cherry and blackberry scents, along with suggestions of smoked meat, licorice, potpourri and pungent flowers. Deeply concentrated but energetic on the palate, offering deeply concentrated black and blue fruit preserve flavors that become sweeter with air. Closes impressively long, sappy and sweet, with juicy acidity adding lift and cut to the blue-fruit driven, youthfully tannic finish.
