I'm a huge fan of what Fernando Espina is doing at Chocolán, fashioning elegant, cooler climate reds with poise and class. This combines Cabernet Sauvignon with 10% Carmenère and 5% Petit Verdot and is focused, nuanced and refreshing, with mint and dill aromas, subtle wood and crunchy black cherry fruit. 2021-26
