At these levels of archetypal consistency, balance and integrity, Chianti is certainly not second to none. But only where its colour is of the same untouched blackish ardour, only where its pulp is that so dense as not to leave even a bright ray pierce, especially where its palatal softness is so seductively perfect, so admirably and spherically round, despite the power of its majestic pair of acidity/tannin. A cream of blackberry in pure and viscous pulp whose wonderful spices make it even more balsamic, vanilla and exquisite. A top champion in viticulture and oenology. Chapeau.
