Tasting Notes
The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a charming, elegant red the exemplifies this solid vintage. Kirsch, black cherries, spice, and garrigue notes all flow to an elegant, silky red that has fine tannin, medium-bodied richness, and no hard edges. It's beautifully balanced and well worth drinking. This cuvée is always a rough blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and the balance Mourvèdre from the lieux-dits of Gallimardes and les Serres.
