Importer Jorge Ordóñez continues to represent a bevy of brilliant estates in Spain, and it’s always a fun, educational tasting with him and his son, Victor. This latest report focuses on new releases from a handful of top estates in Rioja (most notably Bodegas Muga and Sierra Cantabria) yet also includes a number of Cava releases, fortified wines, and some great values from Toro, Montsant, and Calatayud (as well as other regions). All of these recommended wines are imported by his company, Jorge Ordóñez Selections, (, located in Dedham, MA.
