Blind River's cooler, windier climate is crucial in providing naturally lower yields. Rain can pose risks but if timed correctly, early on, it will give the vines a great start. Hands-on management of this vineyard site results in wines of continued consistent quality.
Fermented in a fruit forward style, 100% stainless steel. 9.7g/L of residual sugar.
Fresh citrus blossom aromatics, peach and nectarine richness and a subtle, very slightly spicy, lemongrass edge. A bright, softly citrus attack leads into a weighty mid palate that is full of floral flavours and rich, ripe stone-fruit. The finish is rich, bright and long with a fresh minerality and such juicy acidity that it makes the mouth water.
