Sauvignon Blanc vines are 14 years old and grow on Paritua's vineyard in the Bridge Pa Triangle district. Deep red gravel soils allowing for good drainage and ripening. Intensive canopy management provides a good balance between varietal herbaceous notes as well as ripe, tropical characters. Machine harvested.
Alluvial (gravel & silty loam)
Grapes were de-stemmed and crushed to press. Stainless steel ferments were complemented with approximately 10% of barrel ferment to enhance weight and complexity. After ferment the wine was left on yeast lees for 3 months. The focus for this wine is on clean varietal flavours, fresh fruit and richness on the palate.
Fresh and vibrant, the bouquet shows white stone fruit, canteloupe, lime zest and sweet basil aromas, leading to a finely textured palate that is juicy and lively. An elegant rendition offering delightful fruit flavors backed by crisp acidity, finishing long and tasty.
