The vines were leaf plucked and bunch thinned to achieve optimum fruit quality and harvested separately by hand from the Paritua vineyard in the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District of Hawke’s Bay. The vineyard is one block, organically farmed and all wines comes
from grapes grown and harvested on site.
Alluvial (gravel & silty loam)
Trays with whole bunches are placed in the winery coolroom for overnight chilling. Pressing takes place the next day in a basketpress. Low yielding juice is taken straight to barrel for fermentation. The wines are lees stirred after fermentation weekly for about 3 months and spend a total of 11 months in barrel. The wine is blended and bottled early in the year following harvest.

Grace is a Sauvignon Blanc with an enticing aroma of guava, passionfruit and nectarine with hints, of quince and vanilla pod. The palate is refreshing with nectarine, white peach and a hint of passion fruit. There is subtle oak and linear mineral notes with crisp acidity giving the wine structure and length. The wine will age gracefully for 5 years from vintage and is a good accompaniment with shellfish or white meat dishes.
