“The 2021 Morgon Les Charmes, which comes from vines planted in 1933, has a little more precision than the Grands Cras - more mineralité, even though they were in fact bottled the same day. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, open-knit - a little fleshy with a lovely poise on the finish. Jean-Marc remarked that this vineyard is more difficult to work - but it was worth the effort.”
