‘Memorias’ Maipo Andes Valley 2018
“The 2018 Memorias is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 14% Cabernet Franc and 6% Petit Verdot from Pirque that spent 22 months in one-third new French barrels. Red in the glass with purple flecks. The attractive nose presents clear notes of black currant and sour cherry and expressive hints of graphite and herbs. In the mouth, this is juicy with refined tannins and a slightly rough texture. A continental wine enhanced by its intense fruitiness.”
