“Not yet on the market but bottled, the 2023 Cornas Les Vieilles Vignes reveals a lifted, exotic perfume of red, blue, and black fruits, candied violet, blood orange, and peppery, bouquet garni nuances. It's medium to full-bodied and has a round, layered mouthfeel, ripe yet firmer tannins, and outstanding length. Aged 20 months in 228-liter oak barrels with 10% new oak, it will drink well over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2026-2041.”
