“The maiden 2021 Morgon Corcelette comes from vines planted in 1932. It has a perfumed bouquet with dark cherries, iodine and light violet scents - quite pure and seductive. The palate is medium-bodied with saturated tannins, quite citrus-led acidity and a poised, slightly balsamic finish. Very fine, but I am convinced there is a lot better to come from this vineyard courtesy of Burgaud.”
