“Luminous straw yellow. Apple, pear, lavender, tangerine, and ripe lemon peel. White flowers and honey flavors are long and luscious but also very elegant. Finishes saline, with sneaky concentration and complexity. Made with grapes harvested around mid-September (that date is noteworthy because the first day of harvest at Perusini was August 13) from five different plots that average more than 20 years of age.”
