Coma Vella 2019
“The red 2019 Coma Vella was produced with a blend of 70% Garnacha Peluda and Garnacha de País, 25% Cariñena and 5% Syrah (from limestone soils) from a warm, ripe and powerful year. The wine has notes of dark berries, licorice and aromatic herbs. It's medium to full-bodied, with 14.5% alcohol, abundant and slightly dusty tannins and some earthy rusticity. It fermented with some full clusters and indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and oak vats and matured for 12 months in oak containers of different sizes, with around 15% to 20% new wood. 12,932 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2021.”
