“The 2021 Morgon Côte du Py, bottled at the end of July '22, comes from 6 hectares of vines. It has a fine, mineral-rich bouquet, more red than black fruit, a background flinty scent developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy dark berry fruit, quite firm and strict at the moment with fine grip on the finish. A more terse Côte du Py than other vintages, but it will repay 2-3 years cellaring.”
