Morgon Cote du Py 'Javernieres' 2020
“The 2020 Morgon Côte du Py Javernières was tasted from barrel and will be bottled in December/January 2021/22. There is fine intensity on the nose of layered blackberry, raspberry and blueberry fruit, but it is very tight at the moment, as you would expect. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, quite structured and a little more austere than the Côte du Py. This is a serious Morgan that deserves 3–4 years in bottle. Superb.”
