As usual, this saw a short six- or seven-day maceration with whole clusters, followed by élevage in cement tank. Once again, Burgaud has produced a characterful and viscerally drinkable Beaujolais-Villages that exemplifies all the merits—as well as the incredible value—offered by the appellation at its best.”
