Cuvee Jurassique Gigondas 2015
“The 2015 Gigondas Yves Cheron is also beautiful and is a slightly different blend of 60% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre raised in 30% new barrels (the Grenache was kept all in tank). Its deeper ruby/purple-tinged color is followed by traditional notes of saddle leather, sandalwood, Provencal herbs, and pepper. Medium to full-bodied, with fine tannin and a terrific sense of elegance, it’s another impressive wine from vigneron Yves Cheron.”
