“Andrea Oberto's 2014 Barolo is beautifully pure, focused and delineated. The energy of the vintage comes through nicely in this midweight, translucent Barolo. Sweet red cherry, mint, kirsch and rose petal are wonderfully alive in the glass. All the elements fall into place effortlessly in a very pretty, attractive Barolo that will drink well upon release. The 2014 is deep and yet also wonderfully fresh. It is one of the better straight 2014 Barolos I tasted.”
